By Charlotte gift cards are issued through Prezzee. Open the card first to get its number, PIN and barcode, then spend it online or in a boutique.

Opening your gift card:

1. Open the gift card from the gift email you received, or from your Prezzee Wallet if you have a Prezzee account.
2. Select How to use this card for the redemption details that apply to your By Charlotte card.
3. Keep the gift card number and PIN to hand, you will need both when you pay.

Online Redemption:

1. Go to bycharlotte.com.au and add your items to the cart.
2. Proceed to checkout and enter your delivery details.
3. At the payment step, enter your gift card number and PIN in the gift card field and apply it.
4. Pay any remaining amount with another payment method.

In-Store Redemption:

1. Visit a By Charlotte boutique. Locations and opening hours are listed here: https://bycharlotte.com.au/pages/our-boutiques
2. At the counter, show the gift card barcode from your Prezzee Wallet or gift email so the staff can scan it.
3. Have the PIN ready in case the staff needs it.

Yes, gift cards sold through Prezzee are already activated at the time of purchase, so there is no activation step for you to complete. Prezzee states an activated card is normally available within about 30 seconds, though some activations can take longer.

No, the gift card is free of GST. GST and other taxes are only accounted for when the card is used to buy goods, and may be charged separately by the retailer at that point.

Your balance is shown in the Prezzee Wallet, the digital wallet created automatically in your Prezzee account. From there you can check the balance, manage and redeem your gift cards, and view the retailer's terms.

Yes, redeeming the gift card requires registering an account, and you must supply both an email address and a phone number when that account is created.
